Dependence

In this Section is shown the use of the Dependences.

Dependences are a strength of the Spazio Software, since they allow the updating of all Analysis to a variation of a single parameter.

In Figure 1 is shown an example of Dependences Interface, encountered during the use of the software.

In Table 1 intercepted Dependences are shown.

Figura 1

Tabella 1

As shown in Figure 1, 6 options are allowed:

1.      Delete

2.      Empty

3.      Update

4.      Run

5.      Ignore

6.      Cancel

First option allows to delete all results dependent from that in processing.

Second option allows to maintain the names of the dependent results, deleting their content.

Third option allows to update all contents dependent to the result in processing. “Update” means to insert data Inputs to process Results. For Analysis that require an execution time in the order of the second, Update coincides with Analysis execution (“Run”).

Fourth option allows to execute Analysis depending from the result in processing. A difference with respect to the third operation is present only for GR, Fluxes and Temperature Analysis. In those case Analysis are executed only if the fourth option is chosen. In the case in which the third option is chosen, Results are updated in the order shown in Table 1: if GR, Fluxes or Temperature should be updated, Inputs are loaded if available.

Fifth option requires user confirmation of the choice, since it implies the absence of Dependences detection until required. Although the implication are not very visible, you should NOT use this choice or at least take precautions to backup.

Sixth option allows the user to change idea circa the Result research that have Dependences.
